I am really enjoying the cane more since it stands now

Good Upgrade

My wife had a Strong Arm cane with the standard tip. She wanted a cane that would stand on its own. This fits the bill. Taking the old tip off was a bit of an adventure, but it all worked out well. She is very happy with the new tip.

No difference

It's the same as the original. As long as the cane rests on a flat surface it's stable. Anything less than flat, stability is not guaranteed. The slightest touch, breeze or vibration will floor the cane. Other than thst I like the cane. Definitely better than a regular cane.

Use Two Strong Arm canes

These canes are pretty good for what they cost, I use two of them at the same time for more stability with my hip and knee issues, 3 times now since I have purchased them less then a year ago, the cane will all of a sudden just drop down and not stay locked in the hole i have it in, I wrote to them twice and got a response asking for pictures which i sent in, they said it would be forwarded on for investigation and I would hear back, that was over 5 months ago and have not gotten anyone to contact me since. The canes do fall over a lot as well even when you are on flat floors, for the most part they are sturdier then other canes, you just have to be careful because if it drops down a notch or two it can twist your back or hurt you in other areas
